Reviews and inspiration for an industrial vintage interior
We receive reviews with photos of their Jieldé purchases from satisfied customers, and it's really nice to see how an originally workshop lamp has become a designer lamp in a modern, industrial interior. And that 75 years after its design! I hope you get inspiration from these impressions.
A Jieldé with 4 arms and a Jieldé with 5 arms. Both in a modern interior and both with an “Eames Lounge Chair.” Funny detail, the chair and the lamp are both designs from the 1950s.
Symmetry always works in any interior.

A beautiful green patina lamp with three arms in a beautiful vintage interior.
A 4-arm mount on a brake disc as an industrial base.
A 5-arm lamp, the number of arms can be expanded infinitely. The sky is the limit.
You can already see yourself sitting here reading with this machine gray Jieldé lamp.
This is truly an example of a desk lamp.
Two beautiful gray Jieldé lamps with one arm on a small brake disc illuminate the kitchen counter.
This beautiful Jieldé from Charlotte “illuminates” the Euromast. Nice picture.
A Jieldé lamp as lighting above a cooktop. A protective lens is then recommended due to steam and condensation.
The Jieldé was designed for lighting workstations, here's a Jieldé as a desk lamp.
A Jieldé as a drafting table lamp. The drafting table was designed by Dutch designers Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld. Both the lamp and the drafting table are designs from the 1950s.
On assignment Made for JP in Amsterdam. JP didn't want a standard lamp but one composed of arms in 5 different colors. A beautiful commission with a stunning, unique result. With this, you can truly say that no other identical piece exists. JP is very happy with the result, and I am happy with the execution of his wonderfully creative idea.
Jieldé lamp as a wall lamp for illuminating art. This lamp is attached to the wall with a special original Jieldé wall mount.
CB from Veldhoven now has a nice collection of Jieldé lamps. This Vespa-colored Jieldé with 6 arms is a beautiful addition. CB is very happy with this purchase and perhaps more will follow.
On CB's piano is a collector's item, this Jieldé lamp stood in the Grand Palais in Paris during the exhibition “Design Mirror of the Century” in the 70s. A beautiful piece for a true Jieldé enthusiast.
CB now has 9 (!) Jieldé lamps, I think more will follow, it's a well-known “Jieldé disease”.
Beautiful desk lamp by Hans from The Hague with two arms mounted on a desk clamp. Hans wanted an original lens for even better light on the desk.
G.J. from Kaatsheuvel wanted to extend his lamp with a 25 cm arm. Fortunately, I found a Vespa green arm in exactly the same color, a beautiful result. G.J. is happy with his beautiful desk lamp mounted on an original Jieldé desk clamp.
Another beautiful photo from G.J. from Kaatsheuvel. To be able to turn under the slanted roof, he opted for a 25 cm arm. And both lamps with a desk clamp. Once again, an example that Jieldé lamps are addictive; if you have one, you often want more. Some customers have already bought 4 or 5.
A very beautiful vintage Vespa colored lamp, still in its original condition, for Jan Paul from Oosterzee. JP is very happy with this indirect lighting.
Peter from Arnhem wanted to expand his two-armed lamp with a third arm. He succeeded in finding a matching arm, including a beautiful brushed industrial base.
A very beautiful vintage Vespa-colored lamp, as a wall lamp on a junction box. Petra from Dirksland has mounted an original Jieldé mounting plate in the base for a nice but also safe connection of the cord. Petra is very happy with this solution for her lamp from the early period of 1950-1960.
Petra's lamp has a special on/off switch. Very unusual and never seen before.
For Henriëtte from Groningen, a three-armed Jieldé as a work lamp for her desk. Exactly what the Jieldé was made for and what it's extremely suited for. Henriëtte has visibility and light on her work again and is very happy with the result.
Joost from Amsterdam has his lamp aimed at a very beautiful corner cabinet. The lamp is currently used as a spotlight, but he can also simply rotate the lamp and direct it as a work lamp on his desk. Joost was very happy with the brake disc as an industrial base and a new switch in the conical base.
UNIQUE Martin from Zoetermeer sent this photo of his lamp with one arm of 120 cm and two of 40 cm. He himself replaced one 40 cm arm with a 120 cm one. This turned out to be fairly simple. It has become a beautiful design object.
Myriam from Groningen is completely hooked on Jieldé lamps. It started with one and now there are already three. This olive green lamp has 4 Armen are placed on an industrial brake disc as a foot. All three have found a nice spot. Perhaps lamp 4 will also be added eventually……..
As a reading lamp by Myriam's couch, a beautiful machine gray lamp with 3 Achilles placed on a brake disc as a foot.
The Jieldé as it's meant to be. As a work lamp. A lamp with 2 An arm in a wine-red color. This lamp is also placed on a brake disc as a base. A very beautiful picture, Myriam.
After the renovation, Edwin from Zaltbommel installed two lamps as wall lamps. Two identical Vespa green ones. One with two arms and one without arms, both mounted on a Vespa color junction box. Nice result.
Kees from Rotterdam has placed a restored wall lamp in olive green next to his mirror. A beautiful combination of light and reflection.
Top design and timeless.
Elca and Frank from Barendrecht wanted two light gray Jieldé lamps mounted on their table. A bit of searching, but they found them. Including two original Jieldé desk clamps. A beautiful design solution in their industrial interior.
Alexander from Groningen sent this beautiful photo of his lamp mounted on a desk clamp.
Truly a beautiful patina.
This lamp is also from Alexander, a modern 120 cm long arm combined with a 40 cm arm and a globe from the early years of 1950-1960.
Wilfrank from Veldhoven has a Jieldé with six arms and sent this photo, a very beautiful 60s picture.
Also, pay attention to this beautiful base, with the Jieldé logo engraved in it. Very beautifully done, Wilfrank.
This lamp is also from Wilfrank, a beautiful combination of orange and chrome. Not original colors, but a very beautiful combination and an eye-catcher.
Jolanda from Hoevelaken sent this photo of her desk lamp with a small (24 cm) brake disc as a base. A beautiful industrial yet stable solution.
UNIQUE A very special and creative design with three Jieldé lamps on Stefan's ceiling from Riel.
The three lamps are mounted on a three-part angle piece and a lightweight brake disc has been used as a ceiling plate. Very beautiful and unique.
Another creation from Stefan from Riel, now with no less than four (!) Jieldé lamps on the ceiling. The four lamps are mounted on three double angle pieces. Proof once again that you can create amazing and unique creations with Jieldé lamps.
Chris from Goedereede mounted this wall lamp on a shelf as an extra light source in the kitchen with an original Jieldé lens for protection against moisture and steam.
Top design. A five-armed lamp in an industrial vintage interior.
Another beautiful kitchen lighting solution from Marieke from Groningen. Marieke wanted more light above the kitchen countertop, and this wall lamp is the perfect solution for that. Nice, broad, functional light.
A beautiful picture of Pascal from Vlijmen. Even this cat is impressed by a Jieldé lamp.
Another beautiful picture of Pascal from Vlijmen. This time an olive green Jieldé on a brake disc as a base.
Corne from Veldhoven now has quite a Jieldé collection. I always warn customers about the “Jieldé virus,” but Corne won't listen. ![]()
.
Lars from Vlaardingen has caught the (Jieldé) bug and has completely stripped the old paint from this old blue Jieldé and then sprayed it in the color Green metallic 52727 from Motif. Super well done. On to the next project.
A beautiful picture from Wilfrank from Veldhoven, a beauty of a lamp according to Wilfrank and that's not an exaggeration. Also, take a look at the beautiful lamp behind the Jieldé, Wilfrank's own design, super nice.
Sonja and Frans from Utrecht fell in love with the Jieldé lamp at friends' and found this Jieldé with three arms in the beautiful machine grey color. A perfect reading lamp next to the sofa.
I warned them, after one Jieldé lamp you want more... It's a virus. They also saw this chrome Jieldé with four arms. A lamp but also a work of art in their interior.
Remco from Heeze had this beautiful gray lamp with two arms and wanted to turn it into a 5-arm lamp. Fortunately, three more arms in the same color were found. Now it has become a true showpiece.
Remco's lamp from Heeze now with 5 arms.
And then this creation by Stefan from Riel. The possibilities with Jieldé parts are apparently endless. Industrial vintage Mecano in French style. The project is still in progress, so I'm curious to see the result.
Paul from Eindhoven had a custom-made lamp, consisting of LOFT and LAK parts. Not as it should be, of course. I was able to help him with this wall lamp, and it turned out to be a very beautiful result. (This LAK series is also beautiful)
William from The Hague sent this beautiful photo of his desk lamp on a new brake disc as an industrial base. He polished the arms himself and treated them with the miracle cure WD-40. A particularly beautiful result.
Dennis from Sittard sent this photo of his restored lamp. On a homemade concrete base. The lamp was sandblasted and then lacquered. A beautiful combination and very industrial.
Dennis from Sittard also restored this lamp and painted it black again. Nice result.
Now a one-armed lamp, also from Dennis from Sittard. Beautifully restored and repainted in black.
Dennis from Sittard has got the taste for it; this 5-arm lamp has been sandblasted, lacquered, and placed on a pressure group as a base from a 1961 Landrover.
This 6-arm lamp was purchased by Eric from Caen, France. When the lamp was delivered, it didn't work. After telephone instructions, we got the lamp working again together. Eric is very happy and has gained more (technical) experience. You can always do more than you think, well done Eric.
From Thecla in St. Nicolaasga. A beautiful picture, could be featured in a home magazine.
This photo is also from Thecla. A beautiful lamp with the right lighting can make all the difference in an interior.
This photo clearly shows how a 4-arm lamp perfectly complements a seating area.
Merijn from Nijmegen is not only a Jieldé fan but also has a special collection of Espresso coffee machines. A fine piece of industrial design. Light and coffee, what more could you want.
